Geometry

The selection of the Nominal or the Perfect setup is done via IOVDbSvcGlobalTag:

• Nominal Setup: IOVDbSvcGlobalTag = 'CMCCOND-CSC-00-00-00'
• Perfect Setup: IOVDbSvcGlobalTag = 'CMCCOND-CSC-00-01-00'

GlobalChi2 First look and preliminary results

Currently, we only have plots for the silicon subdetectors as the GlobalChi2 alignment algorithm just works with the Pixels and the SCT.

Test: SCT Only Samples

These samples use ATLAS-CommNF-00-00-00 as geoemtry tag. Summary plots done with the DoubleCone geometry (2328 Si barrel modules (13968 DoFs). If just the SCT is present we are talking about 1664 SCT modules (9984 DoFs)). Here, SCT only tracks have been used via SCT_Cosmic_Tracks Track Collection.

Sample simulated by Else/Jamie using the TRT volume as a filter (19k events - Global ID Tracks: 5.5%). The data is stored here:

• The geometry is not identical to the CSC geometry. The pixel barrel phi locations are different. The SCT is unchanged. There are some changes in the TRT endcap

Test: Pixel + SCT Samples (07-Sep-2007)

These samples use ATLAS-CommNF-02-00-00 in the No B Field case and ATLAS-Comm-02-00-00 in the B Field case, as geoemtry tag. Summary plots done with the DoubleCone geometry (2328 Si barrel modules (13968 DoFs). Here, we have use Si_Cosmic_Tracks Track Collection.
