MobiDick4

Description of the project

MobiDick4 is a stand-alone testbench for TileCal front-end electronics. The purpose of this testbench is to provide tools for full certification of the super-drawers during maintenance periods.

Several state-of-the-art daugther-boards provide different functionalities to the main-board: ADC trigger read-out, CAN bus interface, HV power supply and LED pulse generator. An additional daughter-board is required to distribute power to all the boards, and an external LV power supply is needed to power the super-drawer electronics.

IFIC is responsible for the design, production and maintenance of the project. Several boards have been produced at the institute.
