LHCPHENO Theory Group

Welcome to the web site of the LHCPHENO Group at the Instituto de Física Corpuscular IFIC, a joint venture of the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas CSIC and the Universitat de València UVEG.

We are a world-leading group in Particle Physics Phenomenology, and collaborate with many other theoretical and experimental groups worldwide. Our main objective is the determination of the parameters of the Standard Theory with the highest possible precision, and the identification of possible signals of new physics beyond the present theoretical framework. Our research work is closely related with the present experimental situation in High Energy Physics and its expected evolution in the near future.

We have done relevant work associated with LEP experiments (ALEPH, DELPHI, L3 and OPAL), flavour factories (CLEO, CLEO-c, Beijing tcF, Brookhaven, DAPHNE, BABAR, BELLE, NA48, KTeV, ...) and participate in the research related with the LHC, and the future Linear Collider (CLIC and ILC).

We coordinate the European networks FLAVIAnet and LHCPHENONET, the Centre for Particle, Astroparticle and Nuclear Physics (CPAN) and the COST Action PARTICLEFACE.

We organized LHCPHENO 2015: Workshop on High-Energy Physics Phenomenology in the LHC era
