The "Severo Ochoa" series of colloquia aims to attract leaders in nuclear, parti cle and astro-particle physics and related scientific disciplines. In approximat ely 10 events per year we hope to provide a broad overview of important topics. The audience is primarily made up of IFIC researchers, but colloquia are announc ed and open to the entire science campus.

The audience is primarily made up of IFIC researchers, working in nuclear, particle and astro-particle physicists. The colloquia are intended to give a broad overview, with a scope that goes well beyond the more regular seminars. We aim to keep at least the first half of each colloquium intelligible to graduate students (with a degree in physics, working in a related field). In the second half speakers are free to step up the level or address more technical issues.

IFIC reimburses speakers for travel within Europe and accommodation. We are happy to help find a hotel and make a reservation in your name. For reimbursement, please fill out the attached form with your personal and bank details.
