GRID-CSIC User Manual

Getting access to the GRID-CSIC

In few words:

1. Obtain an account at the GOG (Grupo de Ordenadores para Grid): fill in this form and bring it to the IFIC secretary to be approved by the IFIC's director. This account allows you to access the User Interface (UI's) (ui00.ific.uv.es) and the GRID system. The login is the same as your AFS account.

2. Obtain a GRID certificate: fill in and bring this document to Javier Sanchez (despacho 008) or Alvaro Fernandez (despacho 006). In paralel, request the certificate here. For details, please follow these steps.

3. Join the IFIC Virtual Organization (VO): VO_request

4. Install the certificate in your AFS account.
