PARSIFAL Elementary Particles: Physics of Flavours and Colours

Welcome to the web site of the PARSIFAL Group at the Instituto de Física Corpuscular IFIC, a joint venture of the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas CSIC and the Universitat de València .

Our research activity covers all aspects of Particle Physics Phenomenology. Our main objective is the determination of the parameters of the Standard Theory with the highest possible precision, and the identification of possible signals of new physics beyond the present theoretical framework. Our research work is closely related with the present experimental situation in High Energy Physics and its expected evolution in the near future.

We have done relevant work associated with LEP experiments (ALEPH, DELPHI, L3 and OPAL), flavour factories (CLEO, CLEO-c, Beijing tcF, Brookhaven, DAPHNE, BABAR, BELLE, NA48, KTeV, ...) and neutrino oscillation experiments (SuperKamiokande, SNO, K2K, KamLAND, ...) and plan to participate in the future research related with LHC, super-beams, beta beams, neutrino factories and the ILC.
