The "Severo Ochoa" series of colloquia aims to attract leaders in nuclear, particle and astro-particle physics and related scientific disciplines. In approximately 10 events per year we hope to provide a broad overview of important topics. The audience is primarily made up of IFIC researchers, but colloquia are announced and open to the entire science campus.
A list of previous and programmed colloquia is found on the IFIC INDICO agenda:

Instructions to speakers
The audience is made up of nuclear, particle and astro-particle physicists. We aim to keep at least the first half of each colloquium intelligible to non-experts (i.e. students with a degree in physics, working in a related field). Beyond that speakers are free to go in depth or address more technical issues.
Announcement
A rather detailed announcement in Spanish is prepared by Isidoro Garcia. We need a brief CV to prepare the text. See for example: :

Recording
Unless speakers object, the colloquia are recorded and made available on IFIC's outreach channel on
YouTube?. For an example, see:

Reimbursement
IFIC reimburses speakers for travel within Europe and accommodation. A speaker's fee is also paid. To be reimbursed we need:
- a plane ticket and boarding cards, and any further tickets (taxis, possibly hotel).
- bank details. These should be provided using the form that is attached to this page.
- a copy of your passport (the page with the photo and ID)
- a document stating your fiscal number. Instructions for most European countries are found here:
